Choral Conductor

My love of choral music dates way back to high school days where music was truly a refuge and a fascination for me.

As a public school music teacher, I have had the opportunity to hone my rehearsal skills while working with amazing groups of students in countless ensembles, from guitar ensembles, choirs to large-scale musical theatre productions.

In 2023, I decided to go back to school and take on a Master’s of Choral Conducting at Université de Sherbrooke, under the guidance of Prof. Robert Ingari.  In September of 2026, I will be beginning a Doctorate in choral conducting at McGill University, under the mentorship of Dr. Jean-Sébastien Vallée.  I will have the honour of co-directing the McGill University Chorus.

Currently, I am the artistic director of les Voix de la rivière, a high-level octet where I have the honour of experimenting with “servant leadership,” a model of direction that puts forward and capitalizes on each member’s areas of expertise.  We tackle a wide range of repertoire and have a mission of performing in various venues in the Lanaudière region.

I am the founder of the Canadian Experimental Choir, whose mission is to give emerging Canadian and Québécois composers an opportunity to have their compositions workshopped, recorded and performed.
