My love of choral music dates way back to high school days where music was truly a refuge and a fascination for me.
As a public school music teacher, I have had the opportunity to hone my rehearsal skills while working with amazing groups of students in countless ensembles, from guitar ensembles, choirs to large-scale musical theatre productions.
In 2023, I decided to go back to school and take on a Master’s of Choral Conducting at Université de Sherbrooke, under the guidance of Prof. Robert Ingari.
Currently, I am the artistic director of the Monday Night Choir, an incredible amateur choir that tackles mostly a capella works, with a focus on Canadian composers.
This Fall, a new choir collective will begin in Montreal under my direction, the Canadian Experimental Choir, whose mission will be to give emerging composers an opportunity to have their compositions workshopped, recorded and performed.
